Note: This video was kinda rushed. I had a death in the family and had to rush back to Texas to be with family and friends.
In this video I close my first tank! It's a bit of a rush and I don't show the closeups that I want to. I'll show more in the next one and give actual results!
Long story short; I apply all the sealant and talk to it and even show the work being done.. then do the work of closing the tank! It's a 2 hour job that took me over 4 hours to do.. haha I say it's a two hour job because that's how long you're supposed to have with regard to the proseal. But it took me a lot longer. As you might imagine, filming while the proseal is curing sucks..
I had zero pillowing between the rivets and everything went together nicely.
UPDATE: I'm back after my trip and drove by the hangar today to look at my work. I blew into the tank and put my thumb over the hole. It felt pressurized but I think I heard a small "fweeeee" of air leaking right at the gas cap? I'll have to get some soapy water to test. More video on that soon.
