Red Bull Advanced Technologies: RB17 Hybrid V10

Описание: Red Bull Advanced Technologies has revealed the near-final design of the RB17 hypercar, a track-only two-seat car developed under the direction of Formula 1 designer Adrian Newey. The final production body and cabin have been shown, and video footage captures the 4.5-liter V10 engine revving to 15,000 rpm.

The RB17’s engine is paired with an electric motor as part of a hybrid powertrain, with the electric unit also handling reverse and torque fill during shifts. Red Bull has incorporated a revised exhaust layout on the spine of the engine cover as one of the final design adjustments.

Red Bull intends the RB17 to deliver performance that targets Formula 1-level lap times on grand prix circuits when customers receive their cars. Production of the limited-run hypercar is expected to begin in 2027 following testing on major tracks.
