Описание: This video shows you how to swap the motor mounts in a RWD (not 4Matic) X204 GLK 350. It's a comprehensive video showing you pretty much everything you need to know to swap out your motor mounts, including how to make the "special tool" needed to remove the motor mount center bolts.

FWIW, the "special tool" can be purchased, but the information I've seen on the commercially-available tools indicate they don't work all that well (usually they're too long). In this case, I made one with a cheap and readily available "torque adapter", and you can a 16mm or 5/8" version (they work the same).

The key to removing the mounts is that you'll have to raise the engine to get the old mounts in and the new ones in, and you'll have to periodically adjust the height of the engine to get access to the center bolt as you remove it, and to get the alignment of the new mount dialed in. That can be challenging, and might require changing your approach (center bolt in first, or last, for example).

I used aftermarket "no-name" mounts on this job for a couple reasons - one, I got a set for the cost of reviewing them, and to see how they work out vs. OEM-quality mounts. I have yet to drive the car, and will add any negatives to this description if there is any problem. I'd never (EVER!) use those mounts on a 4Matic, as the process to swap out the mounts is a LOT more involved, including dropping the front half of the exhaust system, and removing the axles to get access to the mounts.
