3 Output modes, meaning you can hit any preamp, power amp or go direct, with just the twist of a knob. "Pre Amp" for going into the front of your amp, or your preamp input. "Power Amp" for hitting a Power section, like an amp return or a power amplifier, that then hit a speaker cabinet. Or "Cab Sim" output, which then has a sweepable range to fine tune the onboard Cab Ir to suit your taste. Meaning your tone is your tone, no matter what setup you use!
