Ancient Synagogues in Israel: The Unsolved Mysteries

Описание: Why are there images of Helius, the Greek Sun God, in synagogues from over 1000 years ago? The synagogue in Caperneum, the town of Peter, when was it built? The synagogue in Magdala, the town of May Magdalene, has a beautifully carved stone in its center, what was it for? Why can’t we find synagogues from the second century?

These are some of the questions I am going to address in this video. It was the first in a series of six lectures on history and archaeology I recently gave.
