The relationship between Pa02 and Sa02 plays a role in determining how much oxygen your tissues receive. There are physiological and pathophysiological situations that change the relationship. All of that is captured in the Oxyhemoglobin Dissociation Curve.
In the video I say "oxygen receptors" to describe the spots where oxygen binds to hemoglobin. Those binding spots are not technically receptors, they are binding sites.
