Описание: Patawalonga Parkrun #226 - Is this the Quickest PR in South Australia?!

Patawalonga PARKRUN! A flat, surfaced path course along the Patawalonga river, South Australia, ideal for a PB! Very flat course with a couple of little inclines and declines around the course. The run is entirely on permanent paths (hardstanding paths), and is a fairly quiet parkrun in terms of numbers. With the paths not being too wide it does get fairly congested towards the middle but thankfully the start is very open so easy to overtake! Join me as I provide an in-depth review and running tips for my Patawalonga River parkrun experience.

Patawalonga River parkrun is an out and back course with two turnaround points on a mixture of grass and path around the perimeter of the baseball club, alongside the Patawalonga River. The start and finish is close to the main car park of the Baseball Club.

Buggies/prams are allowed at this parkrun and dogs are also allowed. There are public toilets close to the start too. As the route is entirely on hardstanding paths, road shoes are reccomended! In terms of how busy the parkrun is, it is a fairly busy parkrun with on average 161 runners/joggers/walkers a week. There is plenty of space at the start too to overtake, so you don't need to worry about that if you are going for a PB. With it being a flat parkrun on hardstanding paths, this is a quick parkrun and therefore you have a chance for a PB!

The weather was beautiful on the day and it wasn't too hot either. The atmosphere was great and the volunteers made it a fun morning celebrating their 226th event! This is the 62nd parkrun I have recorded on the channel of which you can find a playlist of them below:

I will be doing parkruns all over the UK and rest of the world! Every Saturday I take part in a 5K run trying my hardest to get under 20 mins.
