Andhra Pradesh has reported 12 Covid-19 infections between June 26 and July 16, with four patients losing their lives. State Health Commissioner G. Veerapandian clarified that all four deceased patients had serious underlying health conditions, including diabetes, hypertension and kidney-related illnesses.
Kadapa reported the highest number of cases, while Guntur, Visakhapatnam and Kakinada also recorded infections. Health officials have urged senior citizens and people with chronic illnesses to remain cautious and seek medical attention if Covid-19 symptoms appear.
