The Exposome Moonshot Forum was a multi-stakeholder event held in Washington, DC, May of 2025. This conference-workshop hybrid was aimed at building a strong foundation to facilitate the realization of the Human Exposome Project. Bringing together academia, government, industry, and public media, this 4-day intensive event crowdsourced innovative ideas, new collaborations and firm commitments for the future of this collective effort. In response to this, the organizers of the event made the strategic decision to reimagine and rename this initiative to better capture the goals and collective priorities identified during the pivotal Exposome Moonshot Forum.

The Global Exposome Forum (GEF) is a coalition of organizations and individuals working toward the same goals of advancing new research, capacity and network building, and facilitating institutional support to support a future informed by exposomics. This effort will begin as a recurring, international event making stops around the world to build a unified global effort. There will be room for new projects, events and collaborations, all of which will be shared via the GEF newsletter.
