Sometimes, even for your eternity… That’s our topic for this great anime today, as we crack the code of the entire main cast of PMMM and determine how they succeed or fail at fighting weakness, and then from there, if it made them better or worse. Mami lays the baseline, showing that weakness is all about perception and perspective. Sayaka tries to minimize hers, leading to more twisted tragedy. Kyoko just ignores hers the second it appears. Homura and the titular Miss Kaname each manage theirs, but one becomes a godly force of good, and the other pure evil. So, let’s see just why that is in Urobuchi’s classic. It’s not new; its release date may have been years ago, but the lessons are still fresh for 2022…
