How to Build A Star Alliance Tier Point Run / Mileage Run

I've covered Tier Point runs in detail previously, and every time I make a video on that topic, I'm asked to do the same for Star Alliance scheme. Which is a logical question, albeit a tricky one, as all 27 Star Alliance airlines have different schemes. There are great variations in how miles are earned and how status is granted within those schemes.

But I need just over 10,000 miles to achieve gold with Aegean, so I thought I would make a video about how I set about finding a trip which would gain those miles in an efficient (ie cheap!) way. And I thought I would stretch that into a video about Star Alliance Tier Point Runs. Even though, Star Alliance doesn't have tier points...
