A look at keeping amplifier modules, on powered speakers, cool during outdoor events. The sun shining directly on amplifier modules can potentially cause over-heating of the amplifier, and/or aid in the reduction of speaker output due to "power compression". This video shows a DIY method to keep sunlight at a minimum on powered speaker amplifiers.
There are MANY ways to keep sunlight off the back of amplifier modules... this video covers one of the methods.
