Today, we look at some of the renown artwork in the Bargello Museum, in Florence Italy.

We'll start on the ground floor going into the Hall just to the right of the staircase. This hall is known as the Sala di Michelangelo, as it houses a few of his famous works.
We first admire Bacchus, the Greek God of wine, created by Michelangelo when he was only 21 years old. He has grapes in his hair and is raising a cup to his lips. His pose is classic contrapposto, with his weight leaning on one foot. He actually looks a little tipsy. The next Michelangelo piece we find is a bust of Brutus. Surprisingly, this is the only bust that he has ever made. Brutus is the Roman who assassinated Julius Caesar. Michelangelo has captured a heroic appearance here, but if you view the bust from the side, you can almost see his squinting look and sneer. A cunning murderer. Et tu Brute? Thanks for watching.
