A CRPF jawan lost his life after firing his service rifle at a CRPF camp in Odisha. The incident occurred in Manak Jharan village under Lathikata police station limits. The deceased has been identified as CRPF Havildar Ranker Subash Prasad.

According to initial reports, the jawan sustained fatal injuries from his own service weapon. The exact circumstances behind the incident are yet to be confirmed. Police and CRPF officials have started an investigation to determine what led to the incident.
