Our take on Bay Rum with notes of Bay Leaf, Orange, Rum accord, Spices, Woods, Vanilla, Patchouli.

Bastardo opens with an Orange note mostly from the natural orange essential oil, which is fresh and juicy, complemented with a dash of other aromatic materials to provide a woody and waxy nuance.

A selection of spices and woods in small amounts enhace the characteristic scent of the Bay Leaf, the main spice component of this fragrance. Bay St. Thomas leaf essential oil, also known as West Indian Bay oil, is renowned for its warm, spicy and aromatic profile. A rich, herbaceous scent, with hints of clove, cinnamon, and eucalyptus.

Ever present is the sweet sugary Rum accord with a tobacco/woody facet to it.

Then a dash of Vanilla to balance the spicy notes with a warm, comforting undertone, and the ageless Patchouli essential oil to bring some earthiness depth to the scent profile, enhancing the richness of the bay leaf and complementing the rum and orange notes.

With a concise choice of natural and synthetic raw materials, we have captured the harmony of the traditional Bay Rum scent, while also making it more captivating and enduring.

I'm André. My main channel is actually in Portuguese, called Barba Tradicional. But since I do create some content in English sometimes I decided to upload that also here.
Many people have sensitive skin and/or suffer from ingrown hairs, irritation or have difficulty shaving difficult areas. Since 2017 I have retired the multi-blade cartridge and electric shavers, switching to traditional shaving. The results are astounding!
