EASY How to Make Red Ribbon Mamon (Spongecake)

Makes 12 pieces!
Ingredients:
8 egg yolks
8 egg whites (separate the whites from the yolk in different bowls)
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup water
1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
1 3/4 cups sifted Cake Flour
1/3 cup melted Butter
1 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
3/4 cup sugar
Steps:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Separate the egg whites and the egg yolks into two different bowls
Egg Yolks Mixture:
1. Add 1/3 cup of melted butter
2. Add 1/3 cup of milk
3. Add 1/2 cup of sugar
4. Whisk until you get a smooth texture
Egg Whites Mixture:
1. Beat the egg whites on high for 1 minute
2. Add 1 teaspoon of cream of tartar
3. Add 1/2 cup of sugar
4. Mix until you get a foam consistency
Combine Mixtures Together:
1. Fold the egg whites mixture into the yolk mixture
2. Brush the cupcake lining with melted butter
3. Pour batter into the cupcake lining until it is 3/4 full
4. Bake for 16 minutes
5. Butter the top of the mamon with butter-sugar
Butter-sugar top:
1. Mix 1 stick of butter and 1/4 cup of sugar together
