How To Make EURODANCE/DISCO In GarageBand

Описание: There are 3 elements we focus on in this video. Melody, drums and vocals. Starting off we select a nice moody pad, making sure we utilize reverb and echo and adjusting further settings to get the vibe right. We do this for all instruments. We find strong route notes, adding further notes to build them into chords. For the drums the kick and clap follow a straight pattern, hi-hats and rides are laid out to achieve the “bounce”. The piano, which is also the main melody, follows the same chords as the pad, with high notes “moving upwards” for the uplifting feeling. It is the high and lows in the melody that makes it dramatic and catchy, we want a melody that “moves”. We add further pads to set the mood. For the base, the pattern follows the route notes of the chords, “moving up and down” 1 octave as showcased. We utilize Sirens, Risers and FX-effects between buildups and breakdowns for more dramatic effect, finally adding the finishing vocals, making sure they are in sync with the beat and in key.
