How to Find Joy in a less than Perfect World. A Chatty creative session when you need encouragement.

Описание: Life isn't perfect. Today I'm talking about 5 ideas I utilize to help me find joy both during the holidays and in everyday life. Getting caught up in the social media depiction of a perfect life or the hype of high holiday expectations can sometimes throw us a curb ball. The entertainment industry fills our head with stories that are often far from most people's realities. These stories feed our inner voice with negative self-talk and lies that can lead to damaging consequences. Personally, our Christmas holiday is much quieter than Thanksgiving and that prompted me to think about today's topic for others who aren't having more "traditional" holidays. I utilize these skills even in my day-to-day life, especially if I'm not well or feeling a bit blue. I'm also sharing a watercolor demo in my new moleskin art sketchbook. I hope you enjoy.
