Well, this certainly is a little plot twist.

This project has been through a bit of a journey. I want to preface it with the fact that it is not meant to be a romantic video. (Hopefully, the lyrics should signify that.) I started this project back in early 2016 right after watching the first movie of this sequel trilogy. I found myself intrigued by their hero/villain contrast. The project stayed in the back of my mind until March of this year, when I decided to restart the whole thing with a more updated editing style, then forgotten about until a month ago. I kind of thought it'd remain one of my private projects forever, until yesterday.

I had originally planned a WW84 video for today's upload slot, because I had loved the first movie so much. But upon seeing WW84, I found myself pretty unmotivated to finish a project I had actually really liked (RIP to that). Instead, I decided to polish up this video since I've been in a big Star Wars mood lately.

I can't say I really "ship" these two, but I think that their dyad was one of the more interesting parts of the sequel trilogy. I hope I did a decent job at exploring the dark and light and their connection, even though the video itself is a bit messy.
