Several opposition leaders have faulted outgoing Prime minister Amama Mbababzi for failing to read the writing on the wall that he had fallen put of favour with the president Yoweri Museveni. They say he should have resigned earlier to remain with some clout.
Meanwhile, as the news of Mbabazi’s sacking seeped in, police deployed heavily on Kampala streets but the force said deployment had no connection with the reshuffle.
