Former New South Wales police officer Beau Lamarre Condon has pleaded not guilty to murdering Jesse Baird and Luke Davies with his police-issued firearm. During his Supreme Court arraignment via video link, Lamarre Condon launched into a prepared statement accusing NSW police and the DPP of misconduct, claiming he had offered to plead guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter for Jesse Baird only but was rejected. The trial is scheduled for September next year and is expected to run for two to three months.
