Join us on a peaceful family hike through the stunning landscapes of the Alpes-Maritimes, starting from the charming village of Castellar, nestled above Menton, near the Italian border.

We follow a scenic mountain trail to the summit of Roc Orméa (1,129 m), with breathtaking drone shots and calm, atmospheric music to accompany the views. Along the way, we descend into the old abandoned village of Castellar, a hidden site filled with history and silence.

🏚️ A Bit of History:
The original village of Castellar was first established in the Middle Ages, strategically built on a hilltop to defend against invasions. But in the 15th century, the population gradually moved downhill to its current location, closer to cultivated land and trade routes. The old village was eventually abandoned, and today only a few ruins remain — silent witnesses to the lives once lived there.
