Look, this week I wanted to talk about multiple offer scenarios. Now we do see this quite a lot, and we often get asked questions about it, so I just wanted to clarify a few things.

So, a multiple offers scenario, as the name suggests, is when more than one contracts for sale is submitted on a property. Now, the first thing that the agent will, the selling agent, will ask you to do is to formally acknowledge this in writing by signing a multiple offer form.

Now, then you have to consider what are you gonna do with your offer? We always encourage people to put their best foot forward and leave nothing on the table. You don't wanna wake up the next morning and wish you'd kind of, you know, offered that $1000 extra, which might've secured the property. So put your best foot forward, but also stay comfortable with your offer so you don't wake up with buyer's remorse too.

And it doesn't just come down to price, guys. As Adam discussed the other week, tighten up your conditions, bring your settlement in, ask the agent what kind of settlement the owners are looking for.
