Описание: My friends from outside Pakistan always want to know what we eat when we finally break our fast. Here are some of the foods we typically eat in Pakistan (Punjab) at Iftar time.

Not all of these are super healthy so its rare that we eat all of them in the same sitting.

In the month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from the break of dawn to sunset. We stop eating as soon as the Fajr prayer is called and we don't eat or drink all day until Maghreb prayer sounds. Iftar is when we get together as a family and break our fast with delicious home made food. Because we've been fasting all day, we reward ourselves with delicious foods we wouldn't normally make.

Of all the fried stuff I showed here, we don't serve them together especially if its just a low-key iftar at home. I love starting with my guilty pleasures right away because I have been craving for them all day!
