21.1 kilometres in the Glass House Mountains..... At night!!!

What a great event!!

My first trail running event and loved every minute of it.
The terrain made it tough going and felt like I was in a battle a times but was great to get across the line!!

In July 2024 I will be running 7 marathons in 7 states over 7 consecutive days and raising funds as part of Bravehearts 777 Marathon 2024.
Bravehearts is an Australian child protection organisation dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse. I am taking on this challenge to test my endurance and do my part in protecting Australian kids. As a parent of three young children, Bravehearts’ work preventing child sexual abuse and supporting survivors is a cause close to my heart.
My main goal in this is to raise awareness to those affected and shine light on the avenues of support available.
Obviously raising funds is a huge goal in this and I am aiming to raise $15,000 in the lead up to July 2024.
I’m doing this through several ways including individual sponsorships, fund raising events and through the support of businesses who share the same values.
