Identification
The alpine newt ♀ reaches 12 centimeters in length. During the reproduction period: the females retain a marbled greenish-brown color, while the males adorn themselves with a gray-blue color (*), and develop a small fine and regular crest, white punctuated by black. (* it should be noted that the bluish color is observed when the newt ♂ is outside the water)
Status
The alpine newt is now a protected species in most countries. In Europe, all amphibian species are listed in the convention for the conservation of European wildlife and natural habitats, known as the "Berne Convention" (Cf. taxonomic reference list of the council from Europe )
In France it is forbidden to destroy or remove eggs and nests, to mutilate, to capture, thus leading to the intentional disturbance of animals in the natural environment. (Order of January 8, 2021 setting the lists of amphibians and reptiles ).
Population
The species is considered rare in Hungary and Bulgaria, threatened in Austria and Denmark, vulnerable in Spain, and endangered in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Greece.
Threat
Like most amphibians, the alpine newt is vulnerable (Classification and threat list on iucnredlist.org).

鉴别
高山蝾螈♀的长度可达12厘米。 在繁殖季节：雌性保持斑驳的绿棕色，而雄性则呈灰蓝色（*），并长出小而细且规则的冠，白色点缀着黑色。 (*值得注意的是，当蝾螈♂在水外时观察到的颜色是蓝色的)

Identification
Le triton alpestre ♀ atteint 12 centimètres de longueur . En période de reproduction : les femelles conservent une couleur brun-verdâtre marbré, tandis que les mâles s'ornent d'une couleur gris-bleu (*), et développent une petite crête fine et régulière, blanche ponctuée de noir. (* il est à remarquer que la couleur bleuté s'observe lorque que le triton ♂ est en dehors de l'eau)
Statut
Le triton alpestre est une espèce maintenant protégée dans la plupart des pays. En Europe, toutes les espèces d'amphibiens sont inscrites dans la convention pour la conservation de la vie sauvage et du milieu naturel de l'Europe, "Convention de Berne" .(Cf. liste taxonomique de référence du conseil de l'UE)
