What Made Me Rethink This Quran Narrative?

Описание: The following Lesson by Nabeel Alkhalidy offers a perspective on the ayah

وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ عُزَيْرٌ ابْنُ اللَّهِ

and the Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allah " Quran Surah 9 ayah 30

That uses the Quranic context, linguistics and does away with all the conjecture that surrounds this topic.

A point to note is there is NO authentic source to suggest that Uzair is the Jewish Prophet Ezra. This is mere speculation taken up by some scholars that has been transmitted to us.

Abū Dāwūd quotes the Prophet ﷺ as saying that " I don't know if Uzair is a Prophet or not."

روى أبو داود (4674) عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ....وَمَا أَدْرِي أَعُزَيْرٌ نَبِيٌّ هُوَ أَمْ لَا ؟
