Let me also put in a plug for #TerriHendrix and the wonderful songwriters at OYOU Writer's Nest. "Grind" was originally written as part of a recent Writer's Nest weekly songwriting prompt. I fell in love with the music quickly but wound up re-writing all the verses to tell a better story.
"Grind" takes its inspiration from music by Steppenwolf, Blue Oyster Cult, Offspring, Black Crowes, and others -- asphalt-hard rock. Enjoy!
