This video is of quest #18 in Dragon Quest IX on the Nintendo DS. This quest takes place in the Mountain Pass located between Angel Falls and Stornway. In this quest, some children have lost their pet Precious and the heroes are asked to help locate it. The children suggest that in order to find Precious, the heroes might need some special clothing.
In Stornway, the party uses the alchemy pot to make a Pointy Hat and then a Slood. Next they make a Goey gear, before equipping both items on the lead character to make him look like a slime stack. The party must then fight battles nearby while wearing this costume in hopes of finding Precious at the conclusion of a battle. Afterward, Precious is returned to the children and the quest is completed.
