Heavy Light is the eighth and final track of Animusic 2, a video album which combines MIDI music with 3D animation. This track is the longest Animusic has made. Heavily leaning on lasers/synths, it ends up having a pretty Rush/Prog-Rock vibe, especially with the frequent 7/4 measures.
I made all of the synth sounds on this cover from scratch using my KingKorg Analog Modeling Synth. I’ve made a supplementary video breaking down the construction of all of these synth patches. Check that out here: • The Synths of Heavy Light
