The least appalling video I've uploaded yet. By that I mean the car, certainly not the shaky video footage.
Traction Control is off for this test, the transmission is in power mode, and it is set to not shift higher than third gear.
Power braked until 2k RPM, launched with light wheel spin, hits 60 in just over 6 seconds. Not bad for the age!
Car information:
228k miles on the car.
When new, 290hp at 5,900RPM,
300ft-lb torque at 4,100RPM,
80% available from 1,800RPM.
Engine is equipped with Variable Valve Timing.
It is running Yokohama YK580 touring tires, 225/60r16, 34psi
