A few months ago I visited Vietnam's famous train street, well Indonesia has its own version of it hiding in Malang.
I spent the morning at a tiny cafe sitting right next to the tracks as trains were speeding past. Just sipping coffee, chatting and then a train zoom pasts just a few meters away! No crowds, no tourists, no hype.... just real everyday Indonesia.
This is why I love taking suggestions from locals, you go where the tourists aren't and you have fun while doing it!
