Into October and Christina makes it three-for-three, linking up with LA-based artist Linney for another emotionally charged vocal-focal collab. Linney’s lineage already includes many a notable credit, with outings on Mau5trap, Dim Mak and Black Hole, to co-ops with Gareth Emery, Ummet Ozcan, Tritonal, Robbie Rivera and others. This however is the first time she’s co-sung on a release.

While ‘Fallen Ones’ is angelically vocalled its lyrics bely a storyful love-tale … and one that could’ve been fated from the start. With heart-on-sleeve honesty Christina reflects she “needed love but wanted pain”, as she searches for something bright beyond the clouds. “Chase the storm with clear blue skies/days that make us feel alive”, Linney responds, edging them both towards the “silver line”.
