Came across a line in a poem a few days ago: 'I am the sea or I am nothing' and, as is my way, immediately felt it belonged in a song.
The poem resonates with me in its entirety- I'll add it below.
I wrote some verses of the song then got a little stuck- went for a walk by the sea to get inspired and came home to finish writing it.
Near the end of the video, I get some unexpected accompaniment- posted it anyway 🥰
