The long fever is finally gone. We survived.
For a single-parent family like ours, health is our only wealth.
In this video, I went to the supermarket to buy ingredients for a small recovery party. To save money on expensive garbage bags, I recycle plastic bottles at the store. I bought discounted meat to save every single yen because I am still jobless.
I also talk about the 6 harsh realities that single mothers face in Japan.
Sometimes, the loneliness and exhaustion make me cry. "If only my husband were still here..."
But tonight, we had a BBQ on our small balcony.
The total cost was only about $10, but eating under the open sky with my son made it taste better than a 5-star restaurant.
