It symbolises patience, identity, and ancestry, representing a deep cultural connection and the valuing of wisdom passed down through generations.

This track is featured on the album "BARIMBIKU, Vol. 2," recorded in Zanzibar during a three-week artistic residency in partnership with the Dhow Countries Music Academy (DCMA).
Bringing together over 30 artists from Cape Verde, Portugal, Mozambique, and Tanzania, this residency was a vibrant hub of concerts, workshops, and cultural exchange. We extend our deepest gratitude to all participating artists, the DCMA students and faculty, and the supporters who made this cross-continental collaboration possible.
