The asymmetrical fights in HEMA always fascinate me. This time we test how the longsword does against sword and dagger. So we clarify once and for all who wrote the better source, Fiore or dall'Agocchie. The result could not be clearer: it depends.
Joking aside. Chris with the longsword is a very experienced HEMA teacher. I (Holger) have been doing HEMA for 2 years. Nevertheless, I think that given that both fencers are equally good, two weapons always have an advantage. Especially since Fiore probably used shorter longswords.
