Neve’s 33609/N is a stereo compressor/limiter notable for its smooth and transparent sound, making it an excellent choice for mix bus and mastering duties. Evolved from Neve’s vintage 2254 diode bridge design, 33609 remains a studio staple since it’s original release in 1985 - this latest “N” version being their most comprehensively featured to date.
33609/N utilises Neve’s hand wound transformers and a discrete output stage for a warmer sound. The compressor precedes the limiter stage with highly versatile control options and independent side chains for each section.
