Kingdom Rush Alliance - Wukong’s Journey DLC - Bull Demon King boss fight (Impossible difficulty)

Описание: I FINALLY DID IT! I defeated the Bull Demon King on Impossible Difficulty! It was… not easy.

After getting through 15 very difficult waves, the Bull Demon King eats the Celestial Spheres and attacks! He has high armor and Magic Resistance, so your attacks will do very minimal damage to him unless you attack with true damage. This isn’t my first attempt fighting him on Impossible by the way - I initially used Rocket Gunners to lower his armor and while that did help, a Fire Fox got through the exit. I wanted to beat this stage without losing any lives, so I did it again, this time with Demon Pits.

Demon Pits weren’t as effective as I thought they’d be. I was thinking the constant swarm of demons would stall the boss very well + deal incredible true damage to him with the fire upgrade at the same time, but that didn’t really happen. I think the Rocket Gunners would’ve been better, but hey I still won! Even if it was a very, very close victory.

What makes this fight incredibly difficult is the Bull Demon King’s special ability. It has a MASSIVE radius that turns towers and troops into stone for a few seconds, allowing him and the enemies to make progress. It doesn’t help that he does this somewhat often, so move your heroes WAY out of range and then deploy reinforcements to stop him afterward. He was almost at the exit, so I panicked and sold some towers and built Tricannons with Bombardment in their places to defeat him… thank goodness they still bombard the enemies while petrified. I’d even go as far to declare the Bull Demon King the hardest boss in the game, and one of the hardest in the franchise.

But WOOHOO! All bosses in the “Wukong’s Journey” DLC have been defeated on Impossible difficulty!
