Описание: The Hawk from Tomahawk Design is an impressive plane by the size of its body. The plane flights very smoothly and stabile. The roll rate is very slow and the speed reaches quickly some limits.
The landing is cool, slow and safe. The landing is what makes this plane attractive but, the plane probably needs a P200 or P300 to turn it into something lively.

It takes a long time to build the Hawk from Tomahawk Design and you will need significant room to assemble the kit. You can turn easily the project into a top high detailed scale. They are many options offered and easy to set.
The structure is very well engineered and I can not see the way to save weight. On the other hand, I do not think that one can achieve the construction below 25KG even with a small jet engine. I was on the edge with the Kingtech 180 and no option at all. By the way I strongly recommend the Kingtech 180. This jet engine is of very high quality, extremely powerfull and in France, the Importer, Christophe Estiennes, is very helpfull and price competitive.
Concerning spare parts, Tomahawk Design told me that they do not hold stock. I had to wait three months to get a leg repaired on the main gear just for a 20cm aluminium pipe. It cost me more than 400 euros and a hell of lot of stress. It is a shame that costumer relation seems to be a concept for this company as well as the after sales service.
