This landmark event-the first of its kind in the country and endorsed by World Sailing will welcome sailors with disabilities from across Asian e Asia and beyond,reaffirming India's commitment to inclusive sports. As of now, 10 Asian teams have confirmed participation: China, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, East Timor, Philippines, Oman, and India, along with one European team from France. Additional nations to expected to confirm shortly, making this truly a global celebration of inclusivity, skill, and resilience.

Inclusive sailing embraces the idea that sailing is a sport for everyone regardless of physical ability, background, or experience. By creating adaptive formats and accessible equipment, inclusive sailing ensures that all athletes can compete on equal terms, fostering not only participation but dignity, independence, and shared excellence on the water. With participation from emerging and established sailing nations alike, AISS RASC stands as a powerful testament to accessibility, equity, and international camaraderie. The competition will feature Hansa 303 and Hansa 203 class boats, supported by Mysuru's reliable October weather with temperatures ranging from 21-30°C and average wind speeds of 9-14 km/h- ideal for fair and exciting racing. AISS 2025 is not just a regatta - it is a movement. A step forward for inclusivity in Asian sailing, it aims to inspire new generations of sailors and build a sustainable platform for accessible sailing across the continent.
