Barney Carefully (and Adorably) Assessing the Situation

Описание: If you can imagine a hyperactive squirrel that plays all day, wrestling with my hands or plush toys or running on his giant exercise wheel (he now has a much larger one than the wheel from an earlier video)... that's basically a normal day for Barney.

While Serena, the self-proclaimed ruler of the house, is napping I'll sometimes take Barney out of his room to explore. All of the unfamiliar scents, hidden snacks, and things to climb onto are exciting for him and I thought I was going to be recording something along those lines. Unfortunately Barney's explorations were hampered by the senior cat, Chyna, that decided she really wanted attention herself at this same moment. So the video premise was ruined, but watching Barney process everything was neat (to me at least). He's seen Chyna many times, but since this was a new area for him he handled the situation much more cautiously. Recording him was also a factor, as he's not used to being in that sort of spotlight nowadays. When he's around me, he expects to play with my hands so he wasn't sure why there was a weird thing pointed at him. Maybe next time I'll be able to capture Barney behaving more like his usual self, but hopefully some of you will enjoy this anyways.
