In this video, I’m working slowly with paper and colour.
Hand-dyeing paper allows depth to appear naturally. Ombre transitions form without force. Variegated markings emerge where water and pigment decide to meet. Nothing is rushed, and nothing needs to be perfect.
This is less about technique alone, and more about learning to see paper differently. About paying attention to how it absorbs, resists, and settles into colour. About letting variation remain instead of correcting it away.
