On November 11th, I had the opportunity to paraglide Bad Wildbad, Germany. The sun was out and the thermals should have been ripe, but alas, there was nothing. Still, a quick sled rid to familiarize myself with a new location is always good.
This launch was from the west facing launch by the town of Bad Wildbad. You can drive most of the way up, but still have to hike about a km to the actual launch point. The local club has built a rather decent launch area, complete with a small hut for shelter.
