I have learned an awful lot about UK Parliament and how it is structured, but one thing I still do not understand is what the British Royal Family does, especially in this day and age. Most Americans like myself assume the Queen and Royal family are simply there for tradition, and that they hold no actual power or government responsibly. Since the USA does not have a royal family I am very interested to see what it is that the United Kingdom royal family does.
