I’m back in Tijuana for another stop in the taco series, and this one was easily one of my favorites of the whole weekend. Right after crossing the San Ysidro border, across the street from Tacos de Manuel, I spotted a little stand packed with people — always a good sign.
I asked the guy which taco was the best, and he said they’re all fire. The señora told me the one that sells out first is the papa con deshebrada, so of course I had to get that one. My second taco was chicharrón, because you already know I’m not skipping that.
They load them up the Tijuana way — salsa, repollo (green cabbage), and all the goodies — and man… the flavor was on another level. I usually don’t go for papa tacos, but this one changed the game. Definitely one of my top tacos of the entire trip.
If you ever cross into TJ and want real flavor, this spot is right there by the border. Let me know which taco you’d try first!
