Today I’m starting seeds in my hydroponic garden and sharing the process. I’ll be growing some of my favorite herbs including basil (lemon, Thai, lettuce leaf, blue spice, tulsi), Korean mint, and even calendula for the flower heads. This setup shows how easy it is to get started with sponges, net cups, labels, and a little patience.

If you’ve ever wanted to grow fresh herbs indoors year-round, this video will give you ideas for building a setup that works for tea herbs, cooking herbs, and medicinal plants. I’m especially excited to see how Korean mint and calendula do in the hydroponics system.

🌱 Herbs planted: Lemon Basil, Thai Basil, Lettuce Leaf Basil, Blue Spice Basil, Tulsi Basil, Korean Mint, Calendula
💧 Method: Indoor hydroponic growing with humidity domes and distilled water
🕒 Timeline: Basil matures in 70–90 days; Korean mint germinates in 14–21 days; Calendula flower heads harvested as soon as they open
