If you’re a lawful permanent resident and get sent to secondary inspection at the airport or border, remember these two key things:
✅ As long as you are NOT inadmissible, CBP must allow you to re-enter the U.S.
❌ DO NOT sign Form I-407! This form voluntarily gives up your green card, and once you sign it, it’s nearly impossible to undo.
💡 CBP may pressure you or say you’ve abandoned your residency—but unless there’s a real basis for inadmissibility, you still have rights!
