STORYLINE:
German Foreign Minister Johann David Wadephul met on Wednesday with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
Wadephul and Safadi were expected to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and regional developments, particularly the continued implementation of the peace plan in the Gaza Strip.
This is his first visit to the kingdom since Wadephul took office.
