EPIC Dynamic Elevator with ULTRA RARE & FOREIGN Fixtures at Bldg. #2, Marriott Resort, Key Largo, FL

Didn't I mention in my video of one of the Dover's here that one of the elevators had been modernized to something VERY UNIQUE that I didn't think anyone has ever seen before??? At least, not in America? Well, HERE IT IS!!! And have YOU seen one of these before??? Um, yeah I didn't think so.... (If you have, let me know in the comments!)

Located in the 2nd Building of the Key Largo Bay Marriott Beach Resort is this VERY UNIQUE & VERY RARE Elevator that used to be a Dover Impulse just like the other elevators here, but was Very Recently Modernized by Dynamic Elevator with these VERY RARE & VERY FOREIGN looking fixtures that I don't think ANYONE in the U.S. has ever seen before!!!! I did NOT expect to find this kind of elevator here, and as you can tell, I was absolutely AMAZED when I saw the call stations!!! The fixtures, especially the call stations look like something you'd see in Asia or Austrailia!!!! I have NO CLUE as to what exactly they are, but they appear to be a form of Dewhurst or Pybom fixtures most commonly used on Sigma Elevators as well as some other Asian & Austrailian Elevators!!! I've been wanting to see Foreign Elevator fixtures like this for quite some time, and little did I know that I'd find them in the U.S., let alone in a small town like Key Largo! What's interesting though is despite how RARE & FOREIGN & IMO COOL Looking the fixtures are, this thing has an INNOVATION LANTERN, as well as ERM Brailles!!! What an interesting combination, and not one you'd expect considering how recently this was modernized. Not to mention, the voice this elevator has is one that I don't think ANYONE has ever seen or heard before either!!! (At least, I haven't found another elevator with this voice on YouTube!) The floor passing chime is also one I've never heard before, but it is kind of annoying at first.
But all in all, an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING & REALLY COOL Modernization done by Dynamic Elevator Control Corporation!!!
This thing takes FOREVER and I mean, FOREVERRRR to start up when going up, and it is too bad that yet some more Impulses and ones that weren't even 30 years old were thrown out, but if that didn't happen, we wouldn't have this VERY COOL, FUTURISTIC & FOREIGN Looking & UNIQUE Mod! And aside from this thing taking it's sweet time to start up, it runs very well, very smoothly and quietly!
I'm not 100% sure if the other elevators in this hotel will be getting a similar modernization to this elevator in the near future, but it wouldn't surprise me.

With that all being said, enjoy one of my RAREST & MOST UNIQUE & MOST UNEXPECTED Finds I've EVER done in my HISTORY of running this Channel and riding elevators!!! :)

Installed in 1993. (Dover with Impulse fixtures)

Modernized in 2019 or 2020, as suggested by TripAdvisor reviews complaining about a non working elevator. (Dynamic Elevator Control Corp with Unknown Dewhurst? or Pybom? fixtures, New Motor, New Controller, New Innovation Lantern, New Cab and New Doors. Only the door track was left as is.)
